Jalapeño Cheddar Cornbread

Difficulty: Easy
Prep Time: 15 minutes
Cooking Time: 25-30 minutes


2 cups corn bread mix
1 1/4 cup milk
1 egg
2 tbsp sour cream
2 tbsp melted butter + greasing
1 tbsp honey
1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
1 cup pickled jalapeno slices, drained (mild or hot)
1 tsp garlic, puree
1/2 tsp cumin
1/2 tsp chili powder
1/2 tsp salt
pinch of pepperCooking Tools

8 inch round cake pan
Mixing bowl


Preheat oven to 400 Degrees F.  In a mixing bowl, add all ingredients and whisk well.  Grease cake pan and pour ingredients into pan and bake in oven for 25-30 minutes.
Yields 8 wedges
