Absolutely Perfect For a Festive Party!

Difficulty: Easy

Prep Time: 30 minutes

Cooking Time: 25 minutes

Ingredients

1 round of French Brie cheese in wooden container

3 Tbsp. Fig jam

4 slices of Prosciutto, torn into smaller bite size pieces

Brioche bread slices, 10 slices

4 Tbsp melted butter

1 tsp chives, minced + garnish

pinch of garlic power

pinch of onion powder

pinch of red pepper flakes

drizzle of olive oil

Cooking Tools

Parchment paper

Sheet pan

Christmas cookie cutters

Small bowl

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 Degrees F. Prep the toast by using the cookie cutters to cut out shapes, usually 2 cuts per toast (save leftover bread for other uses). In a mixing bowl, melt butter and whisk in: garlic powder, onion powder and some chives. On a parchment lined sheet pan, add bread and use a pastry brush to coat each piece of bread and bake in oven until toasted, about 5 minutes then remove from oven. To prepare cheese, remove cheese from the plastic wrap, save the wood container that the cheese came. Line the container with parchment paper, cut off any long overhangs. Cut down the line in the cheese but stop before the edge. Spread Fig jam into the cuts and place pieces of Prosciutto into cuts, sprinkle with chives & red pepper flakes and drizzle with olive oil. Bake cheese on a sheet pan for 20 minutes. Remove and serve melted cheese with the toasted Brioche.
