Ingredients
1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
4 extra large flour tortilla, cut into large even squares
1/2 onion, small dice
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 Tbsp Carne Asada seasoning
1 cup BBQ, smokey, sweet notes
salt
pepper
Cooking Tools
Long wood skewers, pre-soak in water
Medium mixing bowl
Outdoor grill or Indoor grill
Pastry brush

Directions
Preheat grill, in a mixing bowl, add; ground beef, onion, garlic, Carne Asada seasoning and mix well. lay down on the cutting board the first square tortilla and spread a thin layer of ground beef to the very edge. Follow the visual instructions.
Once kebabs are made, cook on the grill and cook 2-3 minutes on each side and as you flip to cook each side, baste with BBQ sauce. Serve with a side of extra BBQ sauce.
Cook’s Note: You can make less layers for shorter skewers or more layers for extra long skewers. Double up the recipe for more kebabs. I find spreading the ground beef thin makes handling easier on the grill as well as making more layers.
