Apple Cinnamon Butter Biscuits

Made Like a Biscuit, Tastes Like a Cake!

Ingredients

2. 1/2 cups Bisquick Baking Mix

2 large Granny Smith Apples (green apples) sliced thin

1 1/2 sticks butter

1/2 tsp of ground cinnamon

3/4 cup sugar

1 tsp vaniila extract

Cooking Tools

8″ non-stick pan.

Non-stick frying pan

Mandolin slicer

Medium mixing Bowl

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 Degrees F./ 180 Degrees C. Slice peeled apples on a mandolin slicer, melt 1/2 stick of butter in a non-stick pan and add; apples, sugar, vanilla extract and cinnamon, cook apples until slightly softened. remove pan from heat and cool to room temperature. In a mixing bowl, add; flour & apples with all the liquid that the apples and sugar created. Mix all ingredients very well, the batter will be on the wet side. in a 8″ baking pan, add the stick of butter and place in oven until butter is hot and melted. Remove pan and add the apple mixture into the pan, the batter will be swimming in the butter, you can use a pastry brush or spoon to slather the butter on top. Place back in the oven and bake for 30 minutes. Remove from oven, let cool just slightly and either remove or invert from pan. Serve hot or let cool to room temperature.
